Dear Friends!
The 19th or March is my birthday. I turn 39-years-old!
This is not a very round number.
But up to this number I have accumulated hundreds of works: graphics, paintings, and theatrical drawings and models. If you follow my blog then you can see that they just keep piling up!
And so I thought... Yes, it's time to open my own gallery! And Montreal is the perfect place.
So in March I will walk through the old part of the city and search the ideal spot.
But I can't do it alone - after all I just arrived in Canada and I cannot make it without you.
So if any of you friends can help, I will be eternally grateful!
For this goal I have set up on my blog a "donate" button that works through PayPal.
However, if it is easier, checks are most welcome as well.
A donation $3 or more will guarantee that upon entering the gallery your name will be displayed on a plaque with a list of the names of all those who helped make this dream a reality. ($3 is exactly how much engraving costs - I found out :-) - everything else will go towards the creation of the gallery.)
It goes without saying that whenever one of you has the opportunity to stop by the gallery we will celebrate with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
Right now there is about $7,000 to go to reach the goal or getting my work viewed as widely as possible.
And indeed, for all of my supporters (even if you don't quite have the opportunity to help just yet) there will always be tremendous discounts :-)
As soon as I find just the right location I will be thrilled to invite you to the opening of the gallery. (I have a whole reserve of champagne and on the day of the opening my works will be covered in it!)
I truly believe that together we can reach this goal! Thank you so much for your continued support and your efforts on my behalf. It means more than I can ever express. And I hope to see you soon in "Michael's Art Gallery"! :-)
